Finally some cooler weather has arrived! The water temperature has dropped to 24 degrees in Nerang river and the Southern broadwater and soon we will see a big influx of flathead and flounder.
There has already been lots of good size tailor getting caught which is hopefully a good sign for a great season ahead. This week we still caught heaps of good size whiting as well as grunter, tarwhine, bream, and the odd flathead

GOLD COAST ESTUARY FISHING REPORT by Clint 13 March 2026 The recent rain has continued to give the estuaries a nice flush and the fishing has stayed active without being on fire. Water in parts of the Nerang River and Broadwater has a bit of colour to it which is often a good sign for
