GOLD COAST ESTUARY FISHING REPORT by Clinto

Great to see good numbers of arrow squid flooding into the Gold Coast broadwater this week. They have arrived slightly early and will get bigger from June onwards. 

First squid trip of the season this week

These tasty critters are great fun to catch, and have been a staple catch over the winter months here in the last eight years. My squid fishing charters have become very popular, SMS me on 0432 990 302 if you’d like to book.

This week there was also flathead, tailor, flounder, and winter whiting on the bite. I have tomorrow available which is the last chance to target squid for a week or so. Next week I will  target flathead and whiting on lures in Nerang river as we start to lead up to full moon, and I still have Monday, Tuesday, and Friday available.
