GOLD COAST ESTUARY FISHING REPORT by Clinto

Well the Nerang river system sure has had a heap of rain this week, Hinze dam is now spilling. The river will get muddy and many fish will move downstream and deeper.
The best areas to fish will be around the river mouths and nearby beaches. The whiting, mulloway, and crabs love it so it’s a great time to target them.
We’re in the week after new moon now and there are still some big enough tides to flush out muddy water and push in salty ocean water.
I still have this Friday available for fishing and crabbing charters in the Gold Coast broadwater!
Then I’m away for a short break then it’s busy time. Next available dates after that are 16, 27 December and first week of January 2025 already booked out.
