G’Day everyone I was lucky to be on the water earlier this week and caught some nice fish before the weather turned to absolute crap. The species caught were some small school jew and bream with the highlight being a heap of flatties with a lot of great quality size ones in the mix.
Drifting and deep water jigging with Ecogear zx 40s and Samaki vibes did the damage and produced the best results. I took advantage of not being on the water during the bad weather and had a fully customised heavy duty trailer made for my boat.
This trailer was made for me by Pete and his great team at Ozi Alloy and Spitfire trailers at Coomera and it is an absolute cracker. Not only is it a work of art and built from the best materials the team there were unbelievably professional as well as efficient and super courteous.

GOLD COAST RIVERS by Clinto
Only did charters last weekend and Monday before the weather turned bad.
I mixed it up with some sand flats wading with yabbies and hardbodies, broadwater channel drifting with vibes for a variety of fish and some squid, and chasing bream in Nerang river. You can watch the action on my Youtube channel “Gold Coast River Charters”
Fortunately the weather looks much better from Monday (of course🤣) and we have new moon on Friday, hopefully we’ll catch lots of squid, tailor, and a variety of fish in the broadwater.
