Dad joke:

My wife is blaming me for ruining her birthday.

That’s ridiculous, I didn’t even know it was her birthday.

TWEED RIVER by Smithy

Tweed has experienced heavy showers in the mornings this week. When we could go out, there were some jacks and mulloway about.

A big jack measured and ready for release

It looks like the rain is staying away this week which will give the river a chance to start clearing and the fishing to fire up.

GOLD COAST RIVERS by Clinto

We did a few jack charters and some broadwater charters. There are still some jacks biting after the rain stopped, but the fresh water and cool change did slow their activity. They are moody fish the old red dogs.

In the broadwater there are mainly smaller tuskfish, squid, flathead, flounder around.

In other news our very own app is now available on the Apple app store!

Download it free here:

It’ll soon be available on google for android users.

I’ll be away in Noosa next week for a family holiday, and looking forward to catching some whiting on the sand banks.
