This week’s fishing report 🎣🦑

30 May 2024

The Gold Coast broadwater this week is fishing well for arrow squid, tiger squid, school flathead, and flounder. The tailor schools that were here have moved on, hopefully we see more arrive from the South in coming weeks.

The water is getting very clear so smaller and natural colour squid jigs and lures are best. The beaches are in great order with lots of beach worms, dart, whiting, bream, and flathead.

Tweed river is firing up with flathead commencing their winter feed run, and Brad will be targeting them and big bream, jewies, and more.

This coming week looks good after the weekend rain moves away. Westerly winds start and that means cooler and drier conditions! This will bring on even more squid, flathead, tailor, winter whiting, big flounder.

We have a few days available this week on both the Tweed river and Gold Coast boats,

For Tweed river charters call Brad on 0419 028 704, (two passengers maximum)

For Gold Coast broadwater/ Nerang river charters SMS Clint 0432 990 302
