GOLD COAST ESTUARY FISHING REPORT by Clinto

The flathead have continued to bite well this week as have tailor, squid and even Australian salmon. There has been lots of bait fish moving into the seaway and up to crab island.
The cold water which was as low as 13.9 degrees has seen these winter fish thriving. There has been some big tailor caught at the beaches this week including broadbeach, main beach, and South Straddie island East side.
We filmed a segment with Step Outside with Paul Burt and it should be a cracker with nice tailor caught, great weather, and some very cool drone footage of whales near the waves. Coming up on 7mate and online soon!
